We are travel lovers who love to explore nature, cultures, and food.<\/p><p>After we watched an amazing documentary about deep Peru, we knew we had to go there and eventually went there for our honeymoon because is the country which has all the things we love to explore in abundance: unbelievable natural diversity, some of the most ancient cultures on the planet and a very rich cuisine with influences from all parts of the world. Once there we felt in love with the country, with its people, and the sound of the Andes where the Alpacas live.<\/p><p>We were especially fascinated by the stark contrast between our life in Europe and how the Peruvian people lived. The way Andean communities thrive in such remote places \u2013 dependent on nature, using the earth\u2019s resources respectfully \u2013 intrigued us.<\/p><p>When we landed in Cuzco in middle October, we soon realized how cold was over there because of the high altitude of 3.400m above sea level and the even higher mountains which sourround Cuzco. That is where we first learned about Alpaca clothing, I was very happy that I could wear a hat and some warm clothes from Alpaca.<\/p><p>From there we started the ascend to what is called the mountain of seven colours (monta\u00f1a de siete colores). A breath-taking ridge, with incredible colours created by the various types of minerals in the mountain. To reach the site you must hike up to 5.200 m. It was there we discovered the real potential performance of Alpaca clothes because it helps you to adapt to the rapidly changing weather conditions and keeps you warm in the freezing shadows while at the same time it protects you against the blazing sun at that altitude. Alpaca wool is warm, soft, thin, natural, renewable, sustainably produced, 100% biodegradable but more importantly incredibly soft and comfy.<\/p><p>Before we went to Peru, we didn\u2019t know about Alpaca wool because despite its unique qualities it is not well known in Europe. It is here where our business idea started. What if we could bring this great product to Europe, helping others to the same experience of a luxurious soft and warm scarf, while at the same time helping local communities. And of course, as nature lovers we care about the environmental impact and with this locally and sustainably produced alpaca wool we can minimize the impact of our clothing on the environment which is good for the world and generations to come.<\/p><p>So, FF Inka was born; the name FF Inka is the combination of our initials, and it expresses the importance of the Inka culture in Peru and their influence on the Alpaca: If it was good enough for the Inka as they conquered the Andes, surely it is good enough for our modern day jungles.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00dcber uns Wir sind Marta und Stefan, ein internationales Paar, das zwischen Spanien und Deutschland lebt.
